The U.S. Basketball team meets Spain in the Olympic games. Blazers coach Nate McMillan is an assistant coach for the Americans and future Blazer Rudy Fernandez is a star with Spain.

It should be a fun game to watch. KGW's Stephanie Stricklen is in China covering the Olympics and talked with McMillan about Rudy. Nate is pretty excited about having Rudy join the Blazers this fall..."He's had a couple of very good games." said Mcmillan. "I saw Rudy play two years ago. He was a young guy, who had a lot of potential..and to see him now play, he's going to be a very good player in the NBA. He's one of those kids, that plays every possession hard. He's doing a great job for Spain. Right now, they're undefeated and so are we and we'll have the opportunity to meet. "I went down to the lockeroom and talked to him the other day. He's doing good. He's excited about coming to Portland and playing there and I think the fans are going to enjoy his syle of play and what he brings to the floor because you can respect what he does out on the floor. He plays hard every single possession."

Yes, i cant wait...not just for the game against Spain...but for this coming season and Rudy in a Blazers uniform.
