Blazers forward Martell Webster will be out about four more weeks because of his foot injury.
Webster played just a few minutes against the Raptors on Sunday in Toronto, but he experenced some acute pain in his left foot. He had surgery to repair a stress fracture on the foot on Oct. 9th. According to the Blazers an x-ray taken Monday revealed that the fracture had regressed from an x-ray last month.
In a Press Release, Blazers G.M. Kevin Pritchard said that Martell was not expeiencing pain at the fracture site.
"He is, however, experiencing pain in his little toe joint," said Pritchard. "While it's an unfortunate setback for Martell, we feel putting additional stress on the foot at this time is not conducive for complete healing."
Webster first injured his foot in a preseason game Oct. 7th. The 22-year old forward will be placed in a walking boot for a couple of weeks and be reevaluated at that time.
