First he was listed as probable, then he was activated before the game...and finally, Brandon Roy was back in the starting lineup for the Blazers against the Warriors.
He wasn't supposed to play a whole lot...but felt good and by the end of the game played the final 12 minutes and 30 in the game. His stat line wasn't bad either, 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. A pretty complete game for a guy, who missed four games with a hamstring injury. Blazers beat Golden St. 113-100.
"Fourth Qtr I actually felt really good," said Roy. "I said coach, I'm acutally ready for you to call some plays for me. I felt like I can make some moves. I was just happy I was able to play and get a rhythm and we were able to win the game."
They will win a lot more with Roy in the lineup. Next up a four game road trip starting Monday in Chicago. They play Philly Wednesday, New Jersey Thursday and in Charlotte on Saturday.
