Alright... we'd all like a mulligan every now and then, right? Consider this Portland's. The Blazers strolled into Philadelphia, and just forgot to bring their game along with them. They turned the ball over at an alarming rate early on (7 in the 1st quarter)... as the Sixers built a healthy 31-15 lead after 1. In fact, Portland's offense went "awol" too. They scored a season low 33 in that opening 24 minutes. While they did whittle that deficit down to 8 points in the 3rd... they gave it all right back. Just didn't have anything left in the tank.
Here's the silver lining... they live to see another day. The Blazers, now 23-15, return to action Thursday when they visit the Meadowlands to face the Nets. Here's hoping they come out focused... and ready to ball!!
