The stars aligned perfectly for Portland on Tuesday night when Charlotte took the Lakers to not one, but two overtimes. Since the game lasted until 10:30 pm... the Bobcats didn't get out of L.A. until after midnight... meaning they probably didn't get into PDX until around 3 a.m. That's where the good news started... and Portland had an immediate advantage. Factor in that Charlotte's leading scorer, Gerald Wallace, remains in a Los Angeles hospital tonight with a partially collapsed lung.... and anything less than a Blazer victory would be a SHOCK! So, Portland went out, set the tone early, and smacked around the Bobcat's to win by 14. LaMarcus Aldridge with a game-high 25 in the win, which pushed Portland to 11 games over .500.
Next up, an always dangerous Utah team on Saturday night.
