Alright, this was a game that Portland should have won. Show a little fight on the road already! This is as close to crunch time as it will get fellas! The Blazers lost for the 11th straight time in San Antonio tonight, 99-84. Mind you, the Spurs were without two of three best players (Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili). Still, Portland allowed Tony Parker to do anything and everything. He's a top-5 PG in the league... but he looked like a first-ballot Hall of Famer tonight. Against Dallas on Tuesday, Parker had 37 points and 12 assists. He was right on cue against the Blazers Wednesday with 39 points and 9 assists.
For whatever reason (youth & inexperience) Portland just continues to struggle. They are still in 5th place in the Western Conference... but only 1 game out from being in 8th. It is THAT close as we head down the home stretch. Just 25 games remaining... including two with these very Spurs.
