No, I'm not talking about Matt's winter forecast. This is about our deer, Snowball. I call it our deer because to date we, meaning taxpayers, have spent $86,465 dollars and some change taking care of Snowball.

You may remember Oregon Fish and Wildlife took the deer away from the family that rescued it, because it is illegal to keep a deer in Oregon. However you feel that's a lot of money. And the meter is still running as the custody battle went before the Oregon Court of Appeals today. We'll tell you all about it in detail tonight.

I also wanted to ask if you've caught our new Decision 2008 newscast at 7pm weeknights? I didn't think so. C'mon, give it a try. All politics all the time.
