Chris Monnette was the call center's first hire in July 2005, and he oversaw the center's growth to about 280 employees, 400 at seasonal peaks.
Monnette told the Eugene Register-Guard that the human resources and reservations program managers also are leaving. Neither the company nor Monnette would give specific reasons.
Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. also has call centers in Miami, where it has headquarters, and Wichita. A spokesman says the managers will be replaced, and Springfield center is expected to continue serving the company well.
