It's a party at PDX as workers celebrate its selection as the best airport in the U.S.
That's according to Conde Naste Traveler magazine's annual poll of business travelers.

The win is based on things like location, food and shops, free Wifi and perceived safety and security
This is the second consecutive year that PDX has earned this honor.
The poll included several questions about location and access, ease of connections, baggage systems, restaurants and shops available, and perceived safety, among other criteria.
PDX received the highest score among airports for comfort and design as well as perceived safety and security. It also earned added attention for its green energy efforts.
“New solar panels produce electricity, low-flush toilets save 80,000 gallons of water per day, and food waste is turned into compost. Plus, there's free Wi-Fi throughout PDX," said Steve Johnson, with the Port of Portland.
