HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) -- Lattice Semiconductor Corp. of Hillsboro has followed through on job cuts it said in July were coming, cutting 14 percent of its work force, or 125 employees.
The company expects the cuts to save it $4.5 million a quarter.
Burn Guilmart, Lattice's new chief executive officer, said the business is being reorganized.
The company makes programmable chips and has been struggling.
Lattice has 870 employees, a third of them in Hillsboro.
