PORTLAND, Ore. -- Former LucasFilm executive Alan Keith has been named the chief financial officer for Laika, the Portland animation studio owned by Nike co-founder Phil Knight.

Keith worked in the entertainment industry for more than 18 years and most recently worked at a biotech company.

In other personnel move, Knight's son Travis was promoted to vice president of animation.

Travis Knight has been working as an animator. The company says he will continue many of his duties but increase his involvement in the business operations of the company.
