JetBlue adds Portland-Long Beach, Calif., route

PORTLAND, Ore. -- JetBlue Airways is opening service between Portland and Long Beach, Calif.
The New York-based airline said Wednesday it will begin service to Long Beach from Portland International Airport on October 9 and add a second flight on November 2.
JetBlue said the new route will mark the debut of its Embraer 190 aircraft in Portland.
The airline said the fuel-efficient 100-seat jet offers amenities such as 36 TV channels and more than 100 channels of XM Satellite Radio.
