The Oregon Employment Department said Monday the minimum benefit will go up $2 a week, the maximum $11.
That will bring the minimum payment to $115, the maximum to $493.
Oregon's unemployment rate is at 12 percend, second only to Michigan.
Under state law, the minimum unemployment benefit is 15 percent of the average weekly wage in Oregon, the maximum 64 percent. Once a year, the department recalculates the benefits.
