PORTLAND, Ore. -- A Portlander will hop on a MAX train or TriMet bus on Wednesday and unknowingly break an all-time record for the city’s mass transit agency.
TriMet was expecting its 100 millionth rider in the last 12 months on Wednesday.
The agency said this marks the first time it’s surpassed the 100 million mark.
Many TriMet riders may benefit, too, with a free pass on Wednesday.
