BEAVERTON, Ore. -- Sportswear company Nike and specialty retailer Finish Line have opened a joint concept store focused on running and training gear for young athletes, called Finish Line Limited.

The move is the latest in a series of partnerships by Beaverton-based Nike with specialty mall retailers to help sagging traffic and sales at stores.

The companies say the concept store -- located near Phoenix, Ariz. -- will have a new design, increased customer service and a "tighter" product assortment than traditional stores.
