PORTLAND, Ore. -- Adidas has signed a multiyear endorsement deal with Los Angeles Sparks player Candace Parker, the top choice in the WNBA draft and The Associated Press player of the year.

Adidas declined to disclose the value of the deal. Parker's agent was not immediately available.

Parker played three seasons at the University of Tennessee and helped win two national championships. She is also headed to Beijing as part of the 2008 U.S. women's basketball team.
