Airliner sports Oregon Duck colors
09:42 AM PST on Saturday, January 26, 2008
EUGENE, Ore. -- Horizon Air has painted one of its passenger planes Oregon Duck green-and-yellow as a part of its "fly our school colors" program.

Another Horizon jet has been painted in University of Washington colors and similar paint jobs are planned to honor Oregon State and Washington State.
the CRJ-700 will make its first landing in Eugene Tuesday. All four planes will fly normal Horizon routes, mostly from Seattle or Portland to destinations in California.
Horizon says it didn't cost the schools anything and cost the airline no more than a normal paint job.
But Tuesday's touchdown will be a rare one for Eugene. Horizon normally flies a different type of plane into that airport.
