Flir Systems gets $13M order with Colombian military

Flir Systems, a Portland company which makes imaging products, says it has received a $13 million order to make thermal sensors from the Colombian Ministry of Defense.
The company says the multi-sensor systems will be installed on Colombian Air Force helicopters used for national security and drug-fighting efforts.
Work will be performed at the company's Portland facility.
Delivery is expected in the second half of the year.
