GRESHAM, Ore. -- A bowling team in Gresham had a game they will never forget.

Ron Hartline, Mike Hames and Richard Lorey each bowled a perfect score of 300 in the same game.

“For me, it was once in a lifetime,” said Lorey.

It happened on May 10, the opening night of league play at Mt. Hood Lanes in Gresham.

“The odds are astronomical,” said Hames.

As a team, they knocked down 1,133 pins in that game. They have submitted the score to the United States Bowling Congress to make it official, which would be the highest team score nationwide this season.

“The 300’s are very impressive, but the team set could be the highest in the nation shot this year and one of the highest, if not the highest, shot in the state of Oregon,” said Lorey.
