Christine Sinclair moved into a tie with American Mia Hamm for second on the women's career scoring list with a goal in Canada's 4-0 victory Sunday over Trinidad and Tobago in the International Tournament of Natal in Brazil.

It was Sinclair's 158th career goal, matching Hamm's total. Abby Wambach leads all players - male or female - with 184 career goals.

Sinclair, making her 230th international appearance, scored in the 85th minute for Canada. She can take over sole possession of second on the career list when the Canadians face Brazil on Wednesday.

Sinclair plays for the NWSL's Portland Thorns and won two NCAA titles at the University of Portland.

Wambach, who has announced her retirement, plays the final match of her international career on Wednesday when the U.S. team plays China in New Orleans.
