A frightening crash in the Men's Ski Cross preliminaries at the Winter Olympics sent a Canadian skier to the hospital.

Christopher Del Bosco took off on a jump and lost control. His skis went over his head, he turned in mid-air and landed hard on his hip.
Medics had to strap him to a backboard and take him to the hospital. Initial reports were that he was conscious and suffered a possible pelvis injury.
