PORTLAND, Ore. – A woman was hit by a car Friday night in Northeast Portland.

The woman, who is in her 20s, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries but not life-threatening injuries police said Saturday morning. Portland Fire & Rescue initially said the injuries were life-threatening.

The crash occurred near the 3800 block of Northeast 82nd Avenue.

While officers were investigating the crash, another driver crashed into a patrol car that was blocking traffic. The driver was arrested for DUII and reckless driving.
