VANCOUVER, Wash. – A wanted man who barricaded himself inside his parents' Vancouver home Wednesday afternoon was taken into custody after a four-hour standoff.

Uriah K. Schlosser, 30, was taken into custody on a felony arrest warrant for hit-and-run out of Multnomah County. He was also booked on charges of domestic violence breaking and entering.

Schlosser's parents reported at around 4:30 p.m. that he broke into their home, at 6814 NE 119th St., by shattering a glass patio door, said Sgt. Fred Neiman with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Schlosser does not live at the home. His parents ran away out of fear, Neiman said.

A SWAT team and negotiators responded the scene and were able to bring Schlosser into custody without injury at 8:40 p.m.

Deputies closed 119th Street between 50th and 72nd avenues during the standoff.
