TANGENT, Ore. – Oregon State Police are asking for information as they search for suspects in the shooting of three bald eagles.
The three eagles were found near Tangent, just south of Albany, on March 16. Investigators believe the birds were killed on or just before that date. Tap to view a photo of the three eagles
All three eagles were shot, OSP said. A veterinarian performed X-rays on each bird and found evidence of dense metal inside each carcass.
Police do not have any suspects in the case. Anyone with information is asked to call Oregon State Police.
