PORTLAND, Ore. – A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Northeast Portland on Saturday evening.
The collision occurred at around 6:15 p.m. near Northeast 152nd Avenue and Sandy Boulevard.
The pedestrian was crossing in an unmarked crosswalk, according to Portland police. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries, although officers were waiting for medical personnel to determine the extent of the person’s injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and was cooperating with investigators.
Northeast Sandy Boulevard is closed in both directions near 152nd Avenue.
