PORTLAND, Ore. -- A 60-year-old Portland woman was hit by a vehicle and killed on Northeast Sandy Boulevard Wednesday morning.
Bystanders performed CPR on Elizabeth B. Meyers until emergency crews arrived just after 7 a.m. Medical responders pronounced her dead at the scene.
The driver of the car that hit the woman stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Police said this was the 50th traffic fatality in Portland in 2017.
