PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland police are investigating a message threatening Muslims found in a break room at a Multnomah County building on Wednesday, county officials said.
The threat was on a sticker attached to a microwave. The specific details of the threat were unclear.
The message was discovered in a break room of the Lincoln Building, located at 421 SW Oak St.
Police met with the building’s manager and the employee who found the message, county officials confirmed.
Police said bias crime detectives were notified, along with the county sheriff's office.
It’s unclear how long the threatening note had been there before it was found.
