PORTLAND, Ore. – A man who was hit by minivan in Southeast Portland Sunday night has died from his injuries.

The man was identified on Tuesday as 74-year-old Fuk K. Chan, of Portland. He died Monday at the hospital, according to Portland police.

Police said Chan was crossing Southeast Division Street near 115th Avenue shortly before 8:30 p.m. when he was struck by the minivan, which was eastbound on Division Street.

The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.

Chan’s death is the seventh traffic-related fatality in Portland this year, police said.
