PORTLAND, Ore. – A commercial fire in Southeast Portland closed part of Foster Road early Saturday evening.

Flames from the fire were first seen at around 4:30 p.m. The fire is at WestRock, a recycling facility in the 6300 block of Southeast 100th Avenue.

Bales of recycled plastic at the facility are burning but no homes or structures are threatened, according to Portland Fire & Rescue. No injuries have been reported.

Southeast Foster Road is closed between 99th and 104th avenues. It is expected to be reopened at around 9 p.m.
