PORTLAND, Ore. – A car hit and injured a person in North Portland Wednesday evening.

Portland police spokesman Sgt. Chris Burley said the injured person was a bicyclist or pedestrian. Interviews by officers at the scene suggested the person was on foot but officers found a bicycle.

The person suffered traumatic but not life-threatening injuries, Burley said.

The crash occurred on North Lombard Street, near Vancouver Avenue.

Investigators do not believe the driver was impaired.
