NEW YORK CITY -- Portland's Portugal. The Man took home a Grammy Sunday night, winning the pop/duo performance category for the song "Feel It Still" which the L.A. Times described as "a lithe ode to ’80s synth-funk and falsetto earnestness."

The newspaper pointed out that old school medium of radio took the group to "its unlikely ascent to alt-rock ultra-stardom."

The Blazers were quick to point out the pinwheel pins the band wore on the red carpet.

The group earned a kudos from L.A. alt film maker Chris Black.

Los Angeles band Electric Guest tweeted out what appears to be a video of the actual Grammy announcement card.

OPB gave some love to Portugal. The Man and shade toward Justin Bieber.

And the band itself had a little fun. Bo knows.

Check out this Red Carpet interview by Billboard magazine. Asked what it is like to have a big hit after eight albums, bassist Zach Carothers says, “There’s amazing artists that come out of nowhere that are just amazingly talented. We weren’t those people. We had to work for a while and get better. We had to play thousands of shows, we had to make those albums and keep getting better, and we’re all about hard work, and that’s what we’ve been doing.”
