PORTLAND, Ore. – A woman standing at an intersection in Southeast Portland was shot Friday afternoon.

She is expected to survive, according to Portland police.

The shooting was reported shortly after 2 p.m. near Southeast Duke Street and 67th Avenue. Police said the woman heard a pop and quickly realized she had been shot.

Police did not say whether the shooting was targeted or random.

At this point, there is no suspect information and police do not believe the community is in danger.
