GRESHAM, Ore. -- Four vandals caused nearly $50,000 in damage at Mt. Hood Community College and police are asking for help finding them.
The vandalism happened the morning of Aug. 20, from about 1 a.m. until 3:15 a.m.
The four individuals ran through the campus and damaged cement planter boxes and plants, smashed vehicle windshields, fountains and cooling units, tipped over vending machines and cut the handsets from emergency telephones.
“It's a super frustrating thing," said MHCC communications director, Bruce Battle. "We want to send a message to make sure that this doesn't happen again. ... If you do something like this, our hope is, you will be caught."
One of the suspects was caught on a campus surveillance camera, and appears to be a white man in his 20s.
