PORTLAND, Ore. - A stolen car led police on a two-county chase Sunday evening before crashing into a house in Southeast Portland.

Just before 9:00 p.m., a deputy with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office attempted to stop a black Lexus IS 250 for failure to display license plates.

As soon as the deputy initiated the traffic stop, the Lexus failed to pull over and fled the scene.

Deputies pursued the vehicle into the city of Portland before terminating the pursuit due to the reckless and dangerous driving of the suspect.

However, after deputies had ended the pursuit, they found the vehicle anyway.

It had crashed into a house near the intersection of SE 85th Avenue and SE Market Street in Portland.

Deputies arrived at the crash scene and witnessed both occupants of the vehicle fleeing on foot. Both were quickly apprehended.

The driver was identified as Ramone Rodarte, 22. The female passenger was identified as Sabrina Vasquez, 22.

No one was injured as a result of the crash.

The Lexus involved in the chase was a stolen car out of the city of Portland, police said.

Rodarte was booked at Clackamas County Jail on various charges. Vasquez was released from the scene and not charged with any crimes.
