PORTLAND, Ore. -- Two people were injured during a robbery that involved gunfire Tuesday evening in Northeast Portland.

Shots fired was reported at 5:33 p.m. at Northeast 20th Avenue and Alberta Street. Officers found two people suffering from injuries.

One victim suffered a possible gunshot graze wound, according to Portland police. The second victim was beaten with a stick or bat. They were treated at the scene by medics.

The victims were robbed by two East African men and a white man, who ran out of the area after one of the suspects fired a shot, police said.

The East African men were described as tall and slender, and wearing hooded sweatshirts. The white man was described a 6-foot, 160 pounds, and between 20 and 30 years old.
