PORTLAND, Ore. – Shots were fired in Northeast Portland Saturday afternoon but no one was hurt, according to Portland police.

Witnesses told officers they saw a man get out of his vehicle and fire multiple shots from handgun at occupants in another vehicle. The incident occurred shortly after noon at Northeast 27th Avenue and Lombard Street.

Both vehicles drove away following the gunfire. No gunshot victims were located at the scene or have been admitted to area hospitals, police said.

The suspect was described as a black man in his 20s or 30s with dreadlocks.
