PORTLAND, Ore. -- Portland police have released a composite sketch of a man who allegedly grabbed the buttocks of an 11-year-old girl on Friday, Sept. 30.

The girl told police the suspect, unknown to her, followed her on foot at about 6:30 p.m. in the area of North Houghton Street and Courtney Avenue in the Portsmouth Neighborhood in North Portland. The victim said she started walking faster and the man sped up to her, grabbed her bottom, and walked away.

Officers checked the neighborhood but didn't find any witnesses or anyone who matched the suspect's description.

The victim described the suspect as a white man in his 20s, about 5-foot-8 with a thin build. He had black hair, short on one side of his head, longer on the other.

There have been no other reports of similar activity in the neighborhood.
