PORTLAND, Ore. – A man was stabbed to death in Northeast Portland early Wednesday morning and police say a suspect has not yet been identified.

The stabbing was reported in the 5500 block of Northeast 60th Avenue at 1:18 a.m., according to Portland police.

When officers arrived, they found an unconscious man suffering from a stab wound. He died at the scene.

Officers interviewed the 911 caller but no arrests have been made and there is no suspect information, police said. Anyone with information was asked to call the police non-emergency line at 503-823-3333.

A death investigation is underway. The victim's identity has not yet been released.
