PORTLAND, Ore. -- Portland police seized multiple items, including a gun, multiple knives, body armor and ammunition from a stolen vehicle in northeast Portland on Sunday morning.
The suspect, 20-year-old Dylan L. Young, is in custody. He is being held at the Multnomah County Jail on multiple charges, including possession of a stolen motor vehicle and felon in possession of body armor.
At about 10:04 a.m. Sunday, the driver of a stolen 2014 white Audi Q5 drove away after officers tried to stop him in the 4800 block of Northeast 110th Avenue. Officers discovered the abandoned Audi near Northeast 109th Avenue and Northeast Wygant Street shortly after.
A K-9 team responded to the area and located the suspect.
A replica gun, multiple knives, body armor, ammunition, handcuffs and suspected stolen mail was seized from the stolen vehicle.
