After the arrest, officers searched the neighborhood and seized a large knife and firearm as evidence. Police said the gun was a "realistic-looking" air rifle. Officers spoke with a man who said the suspect fired multiple rounds at two people, and shot him with the air rifle. He was treated for his injuries and did not require further treatment. The second person was uninjured.
