KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. -- More than $400,000 dollars in of cash and drugs was seized during a traffic stop in Klamath Falls early Monday morning.
The driver of a Cadillac was pulled over just before 4 a.m. for failing to drive within the lane of travel in Highway 140 near Memorial Drive.
A search of the vehicle found two hidden compartments containing $444,030 in U.S. currency, suspected controlled substances and various prescription pills, according to Oregon State Police.
The driver, 28-year-old Andrew Garrigan, and passenger, 27-year-old Jacob Runion, were jailed on charges including money laundering and making, possessing and delivering controlled substances.
Both suspects are from Houston, Texas.
