Imagine you’re a performer, and every week you step on the stage – with no idea what’s going to happen. That’s the reality for the cast of NPR’s popular radio show Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me.

It’s billed as a ‘news quiz show’ but it’s a lot more than that. Host Peter Sagal and announcer Bill Kurtis are joined by a rotating panel of celebrity guests. Using headlines and humor, Sagal leads the cast – and callers - through a series of games that test their knowledge of what happened in the world over the last week.

‘Wait, Wait’ just taped two sold out shows in Portland, and two of the stars sat down with KGW’s Joe Donlon. In the latest ‘Cup of Joe,' we turn the tables on the hosts, playing a game from the show called the ‘Listener Limerick Challenge.’

Can Peter Sagal finish a rhyme about Portland news items? Could Bill Kurtis’ voice be any more awesome? Can Joe actually write a limerick?
