PORTLAND, Ore -- Oregon Gov. Kate Brown told KGW’s Laural Porter that she felt compelled to share her own experience as a victim of domestic abuse after a report showing high levels of domestic and sexual assault in Oregon.
“I wanted the 1 million Oregon women and girls to understand that they are not alone,” she said this week on Straight Talk.
She also spoke with us in depth about her support of Measure 97, what she is doing to address Oregon’s poor graduation rate and more.
