MONDAY, 12/14 – Fred Astaire Dance Studio - Portland – We're getting an early morning dance lesson at the new home of the Pacific Northwest's only Fred Astaire Dance Studio. After more than 5 years in Northwest Portland, the studio recently moved & re-opened in Lake Oswego near Bridgeport Village.

TUESDAY, 12/15 – Aaron Meyer's 15th Annual Holiday Concert Series – We're previewing this week's 15th Annual Holiday Concert Series courtesy of Portland's own Rock Violinist Aaron Meyer, with a behind-the-scenes visit to Kung Fu Bakery Recording Studio in Southeast Portland.

WEDNESDAY, 12/16 – Winter Wonderland at PIR – We're checking out the 23rd Annual Winter Wonderland at Portland International Raceway, the "Largest Holiday Light Show West of the Mississippi". Winter Wonderland opens at 5pm every night thru Sun, Dec. 27th (including Christmas Night). It closes at 9pm Sunday-Thursday, and at 11pm on Fridays & Saturdays.

THURSDAY, 12/17 – Winter Village at Orenco Station Plaza – We're spending the morning on ice skates to check out the new Winter Village at Orenco Station Plaza in Hillsboro, which opens to the public tomorrow & will remain open until Sunday, January 3rd. The new Winter Village is highlighted by the area's only open-air ice skating rink, & will also feature carolers, shopping, dining & other kids' activities.

FRIDAY, 12/18 – A Circus Carol at The Alberta Rose Theatre – We're spending the morning on stage at The Alberta Rose Theatre in Northeast Portland with some of the cast from A Circus Carol, a circus musical based on Charles Dickens' classic tale about Ebenezer Scrooge & his haunted holiday transformation. A Circus Carol features 3 performances this weekend, one each night Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

MONDAY, 12/7 – 2015 Festival of Lights at The Grotto – We're spending the morning at The Grotto in Northeast Portland to check out the 28th Annual Christmas Festival of Lights, the World's Largest Christmas Choral Festival, which opened over Thanksgiving weekend & will remain open every night thru Wed, Dec. 30th (except Christmas Day).

TUESDAY, 12/8 – 2015 Christmas in Dairyville at Alpenrose Dairy – We're spending the morning at Alpenrose Dairy, where their annual Christmas in Dairyville event opened up this past weekend & will remain open the next TWO Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays. Admission to Christmas in Dairyville is FREE & includes the opportunity to take a stroll down Storybook Lane, where live animals bring various scenes to life.

THURSDAY, 12/10 – 2015 Tuba Christmas Concert AND Great Figgy Pudding Caroling Competition Preview at the Square – We're previewing a couple of Holiday-related events happening at Pioneer Courthouse Square this weekend… Saturday afternoon's 25th Annual Tuba Christmas Concert, a free performance featuring over 250 tubas playing in unison, AND Friday evening's 2nd Annual Great Figgy Pudding Caroling Competition, another free event that will feature caroling groups of all ages competing against each other for a Grand Prize of $1,000.
