Brandon or Dylan? In the 1990s, that was the all-important question for "Beverly Hills, 90210" fans. And for anyone who loved a bad boy with sideburns and James Dean-like good looks, Dylan was the right answer.

Of course, that was a long time ago. We're not tweens and teens anymore — and if we needed any proof of that, we just got it.

AARP, the group devoted to Americans over 50, honored actor Luke Perry with his very own online-only birthday cover.

That's right — Dylan McKay is 50!

Perry celebrated his big day on Oct. 11, but fans weren't exactly ready to throw a party at the Peach Pit when they saw that cover shot.

Many "90210" lovers wished the star a happy birthday, but others weren't happy to be reminded of their own age.
