Tim Gordon is the 4 p.m. news anchor at KGW in Portland, Oregon. He also continues reporting duties as much as possible.
Tim came to KGW in June 2011 after working in local news in Portland since 2004. He has always been interested in a variety of issues that make up the fabric of our communities, so you name it, Tim’s probably covered it! The veteran journalist finds the common denominator in telling good stories is the people that give them life and meaning.
After starting his local news journalism career in Billings, Montana in 1995 Tim worked in Lexington, Kentucky, Eugene, and Spokane, Washington. He has earned local and regional awards for his work, along with Emmy nominations.
Tim’s family history runs five generations deep in the Portland area, now including his wife and two daughters. Along with family time, he enjoys hiking and skiing, fishing for trout, salmon and steelhead, and crabbing at the coast! He also loves to garden and cook good meals. Tim couldn't be happier living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
