Eric is an award-winning photojournalist who has been with KGW since 2013. He moved to Portland in 1994 and has worked at three of the four TV stations in town.

Eric’s broadcast career began in 1983 at a small, low-power station in Ontario, Oregon. After graduating from the University of Oregon, he worked in Boise, Idaho before making his way to the only place he wanted to live: Portland.

His work has been recognized by the Northwest Chapter of National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Oregon Associated Press, Society of Professional Journalists, Best of the West and Oregon Association of Broadcasters. Eric and his wife Janice enjoy living downtown, checking out all the great restaurants and coming home to spoil their two cats, Misty and Whiskey.
