KGW honored for public service marketing campaign

PORTLAND, Ore. — KGW won a gold award for best public service announcement in the 2018 PromaxBDA Local Awards competition. The spot, “KGW Great Toy Drive, competed in a category that includes all the markets in the country.

The winners were announced on Thursday in Las Vegas at the PromaxBDA Station Summit. The Summit is an annual event that brings together creative marketers from across the county to celebrate the best marketing and promotion in the broadcasting industry.

The PSA was the work of the KGW in-house creative team:
