LONGVIEW, Wash. -- Someone let an alligator loose in Southwest Washington.
Crews from Bonneville Power found the animal in a pond near some of the company’s transmission towers, officials said Friday.
Power workers often find trash dumped at the location and think someone was trying to get rid of a pet.
Local animal control did not have an expert on staff to deal with the animal, so an outside official was coming into take the gator away.
